The venue is located in the German Moselle valley, close to the Belgian/Luxembourg border. The river separates two medium high mountain ranges and winds through a beautiful, ancient landscape before it meets the river Rhine at Koblenz.
The Moselle Valley is renowned for its mild climate, great hospitality and picturesque wine-growing villages. Towns such as Traben-Trarbach or Bernkastel-Kues and castles like Eltz or Cochem are a must in any travel guide.
The region was developed by the Romans, both culturally and culinarily. The Moselle Valley is Germany’s oldest wine region. In fact, the Roman wine route leads through Trier – Germany's oldest city – and our new venue in Leiwen.
Trier was the capital of the Western Roman empire. Its monuments still bear witness to this today and were declared a UNESCO cultural heritage site in 1986. With its pubs, wine bars, restaurants and various sights (including museums such as the Karl Marx House), this city near our event location is always worth a visit.
Join our coach trip to Trier - visit Germany’s oldest city (optional – separate booking via the TICKET SHOP).
